The apparel brand “WIND AND SEA”, which cuts through various trending scenes and constantly presents new proposals, will release the second collaboration item with “Parappa Rapper”, a rhythm action game that was popular in the 90’s, in November 2021. On Saturday, March 27th, WIND AND SEA official ONLINE store , WIND AND SEA Nakameguro store, WIND AND SEA Osaka store, and some items will be on sale at Rodney Greenblatt official ONLINE store.
The theme of the newly shot visual is "imaginary girl band." Artists UCARY & THE VALENTINE are in charge of original songs created exclusively for this collection. The models include artist and talent Ano on the main vocals, artists UCARY & THE VALENTINE on the guitar and vocals, Kumiko Takeda, the bassist of MONONOAWARE, on the bass, and drummer Yama, who plays in popular bands and is also active as a support member for famous artists, on the drums. Miyoko Kuchi was in charge, and the band members, who are individually active, assembled to create a special MV-style movie that looks just like the real thing. The full version will be distributed on the WIND AND SEA official Youtube channel.
The product features illustrations of core characters that were not included in the first release, further enlivening the world of PaRappa Rapper. In addition to outerwear featuring Parappa's trademark frog hat on the back, there will also be sweatshirts embroidered with Parappa wearing a WIND AND SEA poodle. We have completed a playful collection that is even more powerful than the first edition.
